Turning Lives Around!

Our supported employment classes are starting up again this holiday season, and what a better way to kick off the new year than by helping those in need? Once again, students in the class are creating "blessing bags" for those who find themselves in destitute during these cold winter months. By creating these bags, the Carousel Center family is constantly reminded about the core foundation that has been instilled in RaeArc Industries: "Turning Lives Around".

The first full week of class officially started the week of December 16th, and we have already done a ton! Our students learned how to solicit donations from local businesses and community members, and there was much participation from them as they set out to network in the community to find new individuals who can help contribute to their mission. Some of the next steps for our class include determining what items to purchase for the bags, assembling the bags, and donating them.
